Heavyweight Lifter, Heavyweight Goals!

I am pleased to officially announce that from a number of highly impressive submissions, powerlifter Stephen Jesso has been selected as this year’s recipient of the Blind or Partially Sighted Athletic Sponsorship!
 
As a super heavyweight, Stephen most recently set new blind world records for all three of his event exercises, and now aims to compete against, and outlift, sighted athletes.  
 
Since initiating this sponsorship program in 2006, I continue to be amazed by the pure drive, passion, dedication, and above all, love of the sport, demonstrated by these athletes. 

I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to follow in Stephen’s upcoming journey, one which I am certain will be filled with many successes and new goals, along the way.
