HOH OHO
With December 25th just over a month away, the North Pole is anxiously awaiting an expected onslaught of deliveries, as children from all over the world begin to send Santa their Christmas wish lists. Since 2002, T-Base has partnered with Canada Post to make it possible for blind and partially sighted children to send their letters to Santa, and alternatively have them responded to, in braille.
Not only does this initiative promote independence and braille literacy, but also brings the magic of Christmas to a greater number of children. Canada Post receives more than one million letters to Santa each year, and the number of braille letters arriving increases annually.
Last year, T-Base assisted Canada Post in breaking the Guinness World RecordTM for responding to the largest volume of letters to Santa. Letters are received and responded to in more than 25 languages, including braille, and the program has been as far-reaching as Belgium, France and India.
I encourage children to send their braille (or standard print) letters, along with their return address for a response in braille from the jolly soul himself to:

We are very proud of our continued support of the Canada Post Letters to Santa initiative, and are thrilled to help ensure, for another year, that a greater number of blind and partially sighted children are touched with the Christmas spirit.
