OTTAWA (December 14, 2006) - For the fourth consecutive year, T-Base Communications assists Canada Post by providing response letters from Santa in braille to blind and partially sighted children from around the world. "Canada Post was delighted to hear that T-Base Communications wanted to offer their support again this year," says Nicole Lemire, Manager of Marketing and Public Relations for Canada Post.  T-Base Communications offers this service to Canada Post at no charge and helps Santa respond in braille directly, replying to wish lists on a daily basis.

"T-Base is proud of its' continued support of the letters to Santa program." says Sharlyn Ayotte, President and CEO of T-Base Communications. "All children should experience the thrill of receiving a response from Santa. Providing Canada Post with the opportunity to respond to blind and partially sighted children in braille ensures that more children are touched by the magic of the holidays," adds Ayotte.

Canada Post receives more than one million letters to Santa each year and the number of braille letters arriving is increasing annually.  Blind and partially sighted children are encouraged to send their letters in braille with the return address of their home or school to Santa at his North Pole home:  SANTA CLAUS, NORTH POLE, H0H 0H0, CANADA.

OTTAWA (November 2, 2006) Notification of On-line Workshop Event -- Security Matters - A Return on Investment

T-Base Communications, solution experts in alternate format communication services, launches another free webinar in a series of educational web-based workshops.

Workshop Summary:
Organizations will gain a better understanding of the basic myths and cost effective measures to ensure the best return for their security dollars.

Wednesday November 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM, Eastern.

In this post 911period, it seems that organizations have become more aware of the number of different security issues and how they can potentially make an impact on daily production.  Businesses have been reviewing their security requirements and trying to ensure they balance with others in the industry and in some cases with new government policy.

Companies have been offered a myriad of security equipment and advice on how to enhance their security by a now booming security industry.  Some of these devices and advice can be very effective; some on the other hand, will have little or no impact on your security and in some cases will only interfere with daily production.

In 45 minutes, security expert Henry Doucette of DBHS Security Consulting Inc., will focus on a number of basic myths and cost effective measures to ensure that you are getting the most for your security dollar.

This webinar is highly recommended for those working as managers, security officers (as a secondary responsibility), and for those who are responsible for budgeting for company security assets.
